Registration

  • Is team participation allowed? If so, how many people can be on a team?+

Yes. You may participate individually or as a team. There is no restriction on the maximum number of members in a team.

  • Is participation limited to college or graduate students?+

No. While the competition is primarily designed to enhance the capabilities of undergraduate and graduate students, participation is open to everyone, including those who are not currently students. However, only participants with student status are eligible for an award.

You are considered a student if you are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, including while employed (e.g., through a degree dispatch program).

Leaderboard

  • Can I change my leaderboard display name?+

Yes. This field was added to the registration form after registration had already opened, so participants who registered earlier are currently shown as “Participant #XXX”. If you would like a different name, please email us at moa2026.competition@gmail.com and we will update it for you.
